Organisatie

As Sr. Procurement Assistant you will provide administrative support to the Procurement Department, i.e. preparation and handling of e-documents. You will expedite activities with respect to in-time responses by vendors and project coordination activities within the department. You will Keep IT tools up to date and will develop the IT tools in cooperation with Paris.

Functie

  • Is aware and cares for Health, Safety & Environmental aspects during daily actions, and drives HSE performance throughout project and or internal/ external services activities. Administrative support to the Procurement Department, i.e. preparation and handling of e-documents.
  • Expediting activities with respect to in-time responses by vendors.
  • EPC-B related Project procurement coordination activities within the department. o Keeping IT tools up to date and develops the IT tools in cooperation with Paris.
  • Is able to identify with the interests, problems and objectives of the organization and takes appropriate action if impediments arise.

Specific Tasks

  • Ensure that IT-tools are well implemented, maintained and regularly updated within the Procurement Department.
  • Train new colleagues, vendors, clients or other users in the use of the IT tools.
  • Provide user support for EPC-B and/or other procurement IT tools to all users (colleagues, vendors, clients or other users).

Functie-eisen

  • Minimum of MEAO education
  • At least 6 years experience in the same type of function
  • Keen to work with computers and good knowledge of MS Office, ERP systems
  • Must be able to fluently speak and write English (mandatory) Dutch and another language are a pre
  • Internal: Frequent contact with engineering departments
  • External: Frequent contact with vendors for registration and expediting activities
