Functie

As a Senior Structural Engineer (Steel & Concrete) you have the lead in constructive projects and you work together with modellers and constructors or in multidisciplinary teams.

As a Senior Structural Engineer you are responsible for the constructive development of projects for various clients within the industry and non-residential construction. You make an inventory and advise on the scope of projects and then, together with your colleagues, you ensure that we deliver what we promise

Your work within projects consists of designing (complex) steel and concrete structures. But this also includes drawing up, assessing and checking reports, calculations and drawings. In addition, you guide constructors and modellers and act internally as a source of information in the constructive field.

As a Senior Structural Engineer you will be involved in requests and quotations and you will therefore be jointly responsible for the engineering budget and planning. Carrying out technical checks on the construction site will also be part of your task package.

Functie-eisen

  • You have at least a HBO diploma in Architecture / Civil Engineering, possibly supplemented by a diploma in HTI concrete and/or steel
  • At least ten years of experience as an engineer in industry and non-residential construction
  • Good constructive, mechanical and (especially) practical insight
  • Making design, main and detailed calculations (also using calculation software) is made for you
  • Extensive experience in checking calculations and drawings. In addition, you have often drawn up technical reports
  • National and international regulations hold no secrets for you
  • You master the necessary design and calculation software within the field (Scia Engineer is a must, Technosoft is an advantage)
  • Good command of both spoken and written English
  • Able to motivate and guide people
  • Good social and communication skills
  • You feel at home in a dynamic design, calculation and drawing team
  • Solution-oriented, analytical, practical and pragmatic
  • Flexible and independent attitude and you know how to keep an overview
  • Eager to learn and interested in developments within the field and you actively keep your knowledge up-to-date
