As a Design Manager, you will leverage your advanced knowledge and skills in building design to lead and deliver high-quality solutions for our Mission Critical Facilities projects. You will work with some of the most demanding customers globally, collaborating with colleagues from various regions. Using 3D design tools, you will ensure that our projects meet the highest standards of detail and quality.
- Oversee the scope-of-work, design budget, and contract documents for each project.
- Follow and update the design delivery schedule and distribute workload within the team.
- Coordinate and optimize designs with a multi-disciplinary team and external parties.
- Lead and challenge design solutions and implement changes where necessary.
- Create and communicate innovative ideas and designs to clients and the team.
Wat heb je nodig
- Master’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- Over 15 years of experience managing multidisciplinary design, engineering, and construction projects, preferably in data centres or other relevant sectors.
- Affinity with digital and automated design and engineering processes (BIM360, CDE).
- Good knowledge of standard practices in the design and construction industry, and a good understanding of the daily (operational) business of clients.
- Excellent communication skills towards colleagues and clients; fluency in English (preferably Dutch and/or German).
