Project Procurement Manager

Our client is looking for a Project Procurement Manager to take ownership of procurement activities within offshore EPC projects. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the full procurement scope across different disciplines and project phases, ensuring that purchasing activities are aligned with the overall project strategy, schedule, budget, and contractual requirements.

You will lead a small, experienced procurement team consisting of senior buyers, expeditors, and project support. Working closely with the Project Manager, Project Controller, engineering teams, suppliers, and other stakeholders, you will make sure procurement runs smoothly from strategy and supplier selection through to negotiation, expediting, delivery, and close-out.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who understands project procurement beyond individual buying packages. You will coordinate procurement schedule reviews, manage supplier relationships, support price negotiations, monitor delivery performance, and ensure that risks or delays are addressed quickly. You will also contribute to framework agreements, procurement coding, reporting, and continuous improvement within the procurement process.

As the main procurement point of contact within the project team, you will combine strong commercial awareness with leadership, planning, and communication skills. You will coach team members, create alignment during project kick-offs and review meetings, and help maintain a collaborative and proactive team culture.
