As a Proposal Engineer, you translate technical customer requirements into feasible solutions and competitive proposals. Working closely with Sales, Procurement, and engineers from different disciplines, you contribute to projects in Power Conversion, Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I), and Control & Automation (C&A).
Key Responsibilities
- Analyzing technical specifications and customer requirements;
- Defining proposal strategies and approaches together with the Sales Manager;
- Developing technical concepts and solutions;
- Coordinating with engineers, suppliers, and other stakeholders;
- Integrating multiple technical disciplines into one cohesive solution;
- Preparing proposals, cost estimates, and project budgets.
Depending on the size and complexity of the project, you will work independently or as part of multidisciplinary teams on solutions that are ultimately realized around the world.
Wat heb je nodig
- Completed technical Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering;
- Relevant experience in a technical inside sales, engineering support, or commercial technical support role;
- Solid technical knowledge, preferably in electrical engineering and/or control systems;
- Excellent command in English, written and spoken;
- Willingness and ability to travel internationally on an occasional basis.
